Here at Rockett St George, it's no secret that we're head over heels for leopard print. Whether it's furniture, bed linen, coasters or candles (because nothing escapes a sprinkle of animal magic), it's come a long way since the days when it was seen as a little bit...well, tacky.

In fact, leopard print has undergone something of a style revival, in that it's now seen as glamourous and fun. It's also versatile enough to work with any colour scheme, whether you're a minimalist at heart or prefer your interiors loud and proud. The trick is to layer your leopard print, using only as much as feels comfortable - an accent cushion, perhaps, or foot stool, if you feel a little more daring.

Much like lighting, layering allows you to match the mood to the occasion, and dial the look up or down as per the degree of wildness required

You know what we say - your home, your rules.

Release that big cat energy and create a den to be proud of...

The Furniture

A big piece of furniture is the perfect focal point to a room, and an investment buy you'll treasure for years. These three pieces demonstrate ways to style leopard print in your home according to the degree of subtlety you're after - after all, no-one's missing that leopard print sofa.

The Accessories

The cushions, the candles, the coasters...if a pretty pop of leopard love is more your vibe, there are plenty of ways to do it. A leopard print cushion on a sofa lifts the look beautifully and adds a modern twist to a rustic interior, while these wild cat dinner candles introduce a touch of daring to your tablescape. Alternatively, place leopard print coasters on a side table, a sideboard or windowsills to bring a little bit of oomph into your space without it feeling overwhelming.

The Kitchen Essentials

Whether your kitchen is a calm haven of cool neutrals or a raging riot of colour, leopard print works beautifully to either lift or enhance your space. It would be remiss of us, too, not to mention black - our very own Jane Rockett adores black as a backdrop, and it can add an unexpected warmth and depth to your home. Also, leopard print looks amazing styled against it, which is all we need to convince us to give it a whirl. Display your serveware loud and proud, your serving board in pride of place and drape these sassy leopard print washing-up gloves artfully over the sink. After all, if one must wash up, one might as well do it in style!

And So To Bed...

Your bedroom is your sanctuary, and the place you retreat to when you want to relax and restore. Whether you're planning a night of self-care, with a good book or movie, or you're inviting a lucky A.N Other to share your space, a leopard print velvet throw adds a sensual luxury to proceedings. And of course, it would be rude to make sure your four-legged friend isn't just as comfy as you are. After all, happy dog, happy human - you're so welcome.

Ultimately, there are so many ways you can make leopard print work in your home, whether you design a room around statement furniture sporting the print or prefer to add cheeky and unexpected pops of minxy personality. If you're feeling like your space could do with a little va-va voom, take a tip from the great outdoors and set your inner feline free.

We have a feeling that you, plus leopard print, can achieve great things.
