Sofas And Accent Armchairs

Nothing makes your living room feel cosy and welcoming like a stylish sofa and accent armchair. 

Whether you prefer modern or more traditional designs, our gorgeous range of sofas has something for all tastes and budgets. Need a small sofa for a more compact space or a sprawling three-seater to compliment open-plan living? We've got you covered with something for all budgets and tastes.

Nothing creates a style spot as effectively as an accent armchair, which you can use as a focal point in your living room or bedroom. 

Position it near a sofa or fireplace to create a cosy conversation area, and 'anchor' your armchair with a rug underneath it, which automatically helps to zone the room. Alternatively, you could place it in a corner with a floor lamp and side table for a reading nook.

Next, layer with textiles to add texture and / or contrast - a draped knit or faux fur throw is perfect, and add a cushion for extra aesthetic brownie points. Whether it compliments or clashes is completely up to you!

Styling furniture isn’t just about aesthetics - it’s about creating a space that is both beautiful and functional.  That's where our cabinets, console tables and sideboards come in! There's some crossover between the three, of course, so here's our breakdown of which piece does what.

Console Table Styling

A console table is a versatile piece that looks amazing in the hallway, if you have one. Style with a statement mirror, either balanced on or hung above, photo frames and a lush green plant vase of colourful flowers, or large decorative piece as a focal point. Create height variations with tall vases, stacked books, or ornaments, to add interest and depth. It's also the perfect place to style trinkets trays or decorative bowls, for keys and jewellery. Console tables are often narrow, so styling should be both chic and space-efficient - avoid clutter and opt for a few curated pieces. Don't forget your table lamp!

Cabinet Styling 

Cabinets serve as both storage and display pieces. Add the wow-factor with vases, sculptures or wall art styled on top of the cabinet. If it has glass doors, showcase pretty trinkets while keeping clutter hidden in drawers. Make it super-pretty by styling a mix of candles, vases, and ornaments to add depth and interest, with a large mirror or piece of artwork to create a focal point. Mix and match glass, ceramic, metal and wood pieces to create a collage of different textures. Don't forget your table lamps or candles to set a cosy mood.

Small Sideboard Styling 

Tight for space? There's no reason you can't make a small sideboard work, as long as you measure your dimensions so you invest in a piece that looks in proportion to the rest of the space. Then style thoughtfully, bearing in mind that: 

• Too many items can make it look cluttered

• A mirror or artwork hung above your sideboard will add the illusion of height
