When we happened upon this glorious piece, we knew immediately it was a keeper. A contemporary-style floor lamp, featuring gorgeous gold leaf detailing for an antiqued effect, this serves as both a lighting solution and as the focal point in a room. It looks stunning styled against dark, block-colour walls, but also works well against a more neutral colour palette, where it lends an almost ethereal effect. The cylindrical design is both visually arresting and practical – cylinders are solid, sturdy shapes that really own the space, and they're especially striking in a world of straight lines and hard angles. We love this shimmering shower of light in the living room and dining room, but it would be equally as stunning in the hallway. What a way to make an entrance!
