Digital art is a relatively new way of creating striking prints and wall art, and, as its name suggests, is done using computer technology rather than with a paint and brush. The results are no less spectacular, however, and this piece, by Danish artist Julie Sommer (known in art circles as Misfitting Things) is the perfect example.
The depth and richness of the different shades of green, against which the bright pink teacup pops fabulously, creates the perfect backdrop for highlighting the way the light plays off the long stem of the silver spoon and dapples across the folds of the tablecloth. This is striking enough to hang on its own, or you may prefer to really make a statement by pairing it with the Fine Dining Framed Art Print by the same artist. RSG co-founder Jane has these in her kitchen, to be seen and loved by all, but you know the RSG motto – your home your rules!
